Proposal Process
Partnerships for the Demonstration Project are highly dependent on capacity of the City of Atlanta and its municipal infrastructure. All proposals will be considered and handled on a case-by-case basis.

The City of Atlanta will be accepting applications on a rolling basis for technology startups and scaleups interested in piloting innovative solutions with the City. Preference is shown towards companies that focus on IoT and Smart City initiatives. Companies must submit a completed proposal in order to be considered for the Demonstration Project.

What is the Demonstration Project?
In 2014, the City of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta passed Resolution 14-R-4004 in accordance with Resolution 13-R-3778 to allow entrepreneurs to access City of Atlanta resources and facilities to test and validate their solutions, formally known as the City of Atlanta's Innovation Center Demonstration Project Policy.
What is the objective of the Demonstration Project?
The program was designed to advance the development of innovative technologies with the objective of fueling the best science and innovation practices between the City of Atlanta and local business entities and entrepreneurs.
What companies have participated in the Demonstration Project in the past?
Emrgy's pilot with the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management and the IoT.ATL AgTech Challenge are two examples of past Demonstration Projects facilitated by Invest Atlanta and the City of Atlanta.
